How can we help you sell?

Everything you need to set up, run, and grow your store — search below or browse by topic.

Getting Started

Creating your account and starting your free trial

Every new store starts with a 30-day free trial — no card required.

  1. Go to the registration page and fill in your details.
  2. Choose a store name — this becomes part of your storefront's web address, so pick something short and memorable.
  3. Confirm your email address if asked, then log in to your new Store Manager.
Tip: your 30-day trial starts the moment your account is created, on either the monthly or annual plan — you can decide which one suits you before it ends.

Logging in to your Store Manager

Once you have an account, use the Log In page, or the My Online Store button at the top of any page, to get straight to your dashboard.

  • Forgotten your password? Use the "Forgot password?" link on the login page to reset it.
  • Keep "Remember me" checked on your own device so you're not logging in every visit.

Setting up your store profile

Before your first sale, a few basics make your store feel complete:

  1. Store name and slug — how customers find and identify your store.
  2. Logo and banner — covered in full under Branding.
  3. Store address — used for shipping calculations, not shown publicly unless you choose to.
  4. Payout details — set up early so your first sale doesn't get held up.

What happens after your trial ends

Nothing changes automatically. Before your trial ends, we'll reach out by email or phone to arrange payment on whichever plan suits you — monthly or annual. Your store, products, and orders stay exactly as you left them either way.

Your Dashboard

Finding your way around

Your Store Manager is entirely front-end — no WordPress admin screens involved. The main menu covers everything: overview, products, orders, coupons, reports, and settings, all reachable from the same left-hand panel inside your dashboard.

Reading your sales analytics

Your dashboard's overview shows interactive graphs of gross sales, net earnings, and item counts over time. Use the date range selector to compare a week, a month, or a custom period against a previous one.

Store performance reports

Beyond sales totals, your reports show which products are actually selling and how many people are visiting your store page — useful for deciding what to restock or promote first.

Your digital store ledger

Every earning, commission, and payout is recorded as a line item in your ledger — a transparent, always-available record you can check any time, rather than waiting on a statement.

Tip: export or screenshot your ledger periodically if you keep your own bookkeeping records — it's the easiest source of truth for your store's numbers.

Products

Adding your first product

  1. From your dashboard, choose Products → Add New.
  2. Give it a clear name, description, and at least one photo.
  3. Set a price — and a sale price if you're running a promotion.
  4. Choose a category so it's easy for customers to browse to.
  5. Publish it — it's live on your storefront immediately.

Choosing the right product type

  • Physical product — a simple item with one price, weight, and stock count.
  • Variable product — the same item in different sizes, colours, or options, each with its own price and stock if needed.
  • Digital download — a file (PDF, template, printable) delivered automatically after purchase, no shipping involved.
  • Virtual service — a booking or service listing with no physical shipping step at all.

Bulk importing and exporting via CSV

If you have many products already listed elsewhere, export them to a spreadsheet in the standard CSV format, then use Products → Import to upload them all at once instead of adding each one by hand. The same Export tool lets you pull your whole catalogue out at any time as a backup.

Managing stock and inventory

  • Set a SKU (your own internal product code) to keep your own records organised.
  • Enable stock tracking to get automatic low-stock and out-of-stock handling.
  • Turn on backorders if you're happy to take orders on items you'll restock shortly.
  • Toggle stock status manually any time — handy for made-to-order or one-off items.

Reviews and cross-selling

Verified customer reviews appear on your product pages automatically once a buyer leaves one — you don't need to do anything to enable this. For cross-selling, link related or complementary products to each other so customers see them as suggestions while browsing.

Branding

Uploading your logo and store banner

In Settings → Store, upload a square logo (used as your store's small icon) and a wide banner image (shown across the top of your store page). Both can be replaced any time without affecting your existing listings.

Connecting your social profiles

Add your Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter) links in your store settings — they'll appear as icons on your storefront header, giving customers an easy way to follow you elsewhere.

Writing your store policies

Your Policies tab lets you write your own shipping, refund, and cancellation terms in plain language. Customers can read these before they buy, which cuts down on pre-purchase questions and disputes later.

Tip: be specific about timeframes ("refunds processed within 5 business days") rather than vague promises — it builds more trust and avoids confusion.

Store hours and vacation mode

If you only operate certain days or hours, set them under Store Hours so customers know when to expect a response. Heading away? Switch on Vacation Mode to pause new orders temporarily without deleting or hiding your listings.

Adding your store location

If you have a physical presence — a market stall, studio, or collection point — add your coordinates so it shows on your store's map. This is entirely optional if you sell purely online.

Shipping & Orders

Setting up shipping zones

Under Shipping Settings, create zones by country, province, or postcode, and set a different rate for each — useful if local delivery costs far less than delivering nationally.

Choosing your shipping methods

  • Flat rate — one fixed price regardless of cart size.
  • Free shipping threshold — free delivery once a customer's order passes a set amount, a proven way to lift average order value.
  • Local pickup — customers collect in person, no delivery cost at all.

Weight-based shipping

If you sell items of very different sizes, enable weight-based rates so heavier orders are charged proportionally more — set each product's weight once, and the calculation happens automatically at checkout from then on.

Invoices and packing slips

Open any order and choose Print Invoice or Print Packing Slip to generate a ready-to-use document — handy for your own records and for including inside the parcel.

Updating order status

As you fulfil an order, move it through Processing → Completed (or Shipped, if you use shipment tracking). Customers are notified automatically when the status changes, so there's no need to message them separately.

Sales & Earnings

Creating a coupon

Under Coupons → Add New, choose a percentage or a fixed-amount discount, set an expiry date if you want one, and restrict it to your own products only — customers apply the code at checkout as usual.

How payouts work

Your earnings are recorded in your ledger as sales come in, then paid out either through a connected payment gateway or by manual bank transfer, depending on what's set up for your store. Check your Payout Settings to confirm your bank or gateway details are current.

Tax and shipping earnings

Depending on the marketplace's commission policy, tax and shipping charges may be paid out to you in full or split according to a set percentage — this is shown clearly in your ledger for every order, so there's never a guessing game.

Handling a refund request

When a customer requests a refund, it appears in your Orders list flagged for review. You can approve it in full, partially, or decline with a reason — the customer is notified automatically either way.

Customers

Answering pre-purchase questions

Customers can ask about a product directly from its page before buying. These questions land in your dashboard's Inquiries tab — answering promptly is one of the simplest ways to turn a browser into a buyer.

Staying on top of notifications

You'll get an instant dashboard alert (and an email, if enabled) for new orders, low stock warnings, and customer questions — so nothing sits unanswered while you're away from your dashboard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any technical or WordPress experience to run my store?

No. Everything — products, orders, payouts, settings — is managed from your own front-end Store Manager. You never need to open the WordPress admin area to run your store day to day.

How long is the free trial, and what happens after?

30 days, free, on either plan. We'll reach out before it ends to arrange payment — nothing changes automatically, and your store stays exactly as you left it either way.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes — there's no lock-in contract on either the monthly or annual plan. Contact us any time and we'll take care of it.

Is there a limit on how many products I can list?

No — list as many physical or digital products as you like, with no cap on orders or sales volume.

What's the difference between "My Online Store" and "My Dashboard"?

My Online Store takes you straight to your Store Manager — products, orders, and store settings. My Dashboard takes you to your main You're Worth It member dashboard on the wider platform.
